Homeopathy and Nerve Regeneration

Researchers from the Department of Clinical Sciences, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Urmia University, in Iran, the Department of Veterinary Pathology, Western College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Saskatchewan, Canada and the R&D Division, Azar Masoon Vaccine, Biological and Pharmaceuticals Distribution Company, Urmia, Iran have undertaken research (RCT) that proves that the homeopathic remedy, Hypericum improves the functional recovery of peripheral nerve regeneration.

The research, published in the journal ‘Homeopathy’ was undertaken on rats and showed that, in the group who were treated with Hypericum, there was a faster and better recovery of regenerated axons and gastrocnemius muscle mass was significantly greater.

Good News for Bristol Homeopathic Hospital

Great news from Bristol! Local pressure and campaigning has resulted in the Bath PCT agreeing to drop their plans to cut the homeopathic referrals. They have also agreed to continue to fund the homeopathic service – ie GP referrals to the homeopathic treatment with the excellent doctors at Bristol Homeopathic Hospital and their outreach clinics in Bath and Devon will continue.
